Complaints Against Railroads

Complaints are being filed by many train passengers against railroad authorities for not providing them with information necessary for their travels.


A number of complaints have recently been en- tered by passengers on their way south- ward against the railroad authorities for not pointing out the cars destined for the Dan- ville route, so as to distinguish them from the cars of the Weldon route. Several on Saturday left the Petersburg depot for Weldon, and on the other side of the river were transferred to the Danville line with- out being aware of it. A simple placard posted on the ears at the depot would pre- vent any confusion.
