Description
The 4th week of September 1867 recounts many crimes involving white and colored southerners, many times dismissing the case when it inflicts arm for the colored party. Talk about railroad expansion I heavy and leads to discussion of migration from the mountains and overcrowding. More blame is put tonto Radicals for the civil issues happening in the South such as violence. In a sense the nation is becoming more connected through industrial advancements but is still being separated by remaining tension between the North and South regarding the actions of colored people in the South.
