Summary

Relations between Radicals and Freedmen are evident as the Dispatch reports a proposed convention that the Radicals believe will be attended largely by "the un-reconstructed"

Transcription

We learn from that consistent exponent of radical doctrines and advocate of negro equality, the Alexandria Journal that a "large meeting of Union men" recently held in Winchester, it was proposed to have a radical convention in Alexandria on the 17th of May next. The negro organ thinks it would be largely attended by the un-reconstructed.
