Summary
Already there appears to be a widely popular touring show making fun of Reconstruction that is supported by the Dispatch and recommended that people not only see it once but a second time.
Transcription
Humors of Reconstruction. - Mr. James P. Cowardin will deliver his lecture on this subject at the Theatre to-night. All who have heard the lecture we feel confident will want to go again, and those who have not should go, for it is the last time of its delivery in this city. The proceeds of the lecture will be appropriated for the benefit of the orphan asylums of our city, and we hope that there will be found none who will not feel it to be their duty to contribute their mite for the benefit of the poor orphan.
