Transcription
The Petersburg delegates to the State Council of the Friends of Temperance, which meets in Waynesboro' to-night, arrived here yesterday afternoon, and were received by Artisan Council and escorted to the Methodist Church, Oregon Hill, which had been tastefully decorated by the ladies for the occasion. A large audience greeted the visitors, and interesting addresses were delivered by Messrs, Bethel, Hates, and others. The Petersburgers were delighted with the hospitable reception of their friends on Oregon. The Richmond and Petersburg delegates left this morning for Waynesboro
