December 29, 1869

Transcription
The Washington correspondent of the State Journal writes that Virginia will be represented in Congress within a week after the resembling of that body, and that neither General Butler nor Senator Sumner, it so disposed, could prevent such a result. This correspondent speaks in a confident tone, and seems to write as one having information which justified it. We hope for the best.
