Mr. O'Connor asks Johnson that Davis be released on parole, offering $250,000 bail. The Cabinet meets to discuss the matter, but no conclusion is met.
Mr. O'Connor has applied to the President for the release of Mr. Davis on parole, offering two hundred and fifty thousand dollars bail. A long Cabinet session was held to-day. No conclusion was reached. The impression prevails here that the application will ultimately be granted.
