Transcription
Captain Wilcox, of the Freedmen's Bureau, in this town, has issued an order that all freedmen and women who shall be found after the 20th intent without certificates showing that they have employment for the current year will be taken up and treated as vagrants, according to the vagrant laws of the State. Children label to become a tax to the public are to be bound out until they are twenty-one years of age - Danville Times
