Wood Distribution

Due to a delay in the delivery of wood from Fredericksburg, only a small number of people who registered for wood received it. Causing many need families to go without.

Wood Distribution.--The wood train on the Fredericksburg railroad arrived so late yesterday afternoon that but a small portion was delivered to persons who had registered their names. Those who have not been supplied are requested to call on Broad street between First and Second early this morning. This is the wood which is sold at cost to persons in needy circumstances.
